Science

In Science class students will investigate and problem solve with lab work. Students are expected to try their very best, stay engaged, and ask questions if they need help. School supplies will not be shared and each student will have their own journals and lab equipment. We will use colored pencils, scissors, glue, and a regular pencil each day. Students must follow school and classroom behavior expectations and stay engaged. Lab safety is very important, and students will be removed from the lab if they are not meeting expectations. They will receive an alternate assignment and will not be able to particpiate that day. Teamwork is an important part of science class. Students need to work well with others in a small group. Struggling students can always ask for help in class. There are also additional videos and websites available. and I am always willing to help.

Social Studies

In Social studeies students Use maps, graphs, statistical data, timelines, charts and diagrams to interpret, draw conclusions and make predictions. STudents also explain human characteristics, such as peoples’ education, language diversity, economies, religions, settlement patterns, ethnic background and political system
